Homeownership is something millennials are delaying. They have been hit hard by economic problems and don’t see homeownership as necessary to success. Just 63% of Americans own homes, a 20-year low. How is this affecting Dallas property management companies?

Paul Conway, President of Generation Opportunity, said, “They’ve (millennials) seen what their parents are dealing with, what their brothers and sisters are dealing with, in terms of being saddled with home values that are less than what was paid for.” He believes we may have a generation of renters.
Although fewer young people own homes, they still hope to buy a home “someday.” But with current borrowing standards, this may seem very difficult.
